Mike is a graduate of St. Xavier High School and Miami University, Ohio, with a degree in Business Marketing, and has more than 23 years experience in custom home building.

His wife Terry, a graduate of Reading High School and Thomas More College, with a degree in Computer Science, manages the office and assists in home planning details. Together they run a family business with your family in mind.

Mike builds homes with a passion. From the design stage, through warranty work, only the highest standards are acceptable in delivering your vision. Over the years he has developed long term relationships with quality people that you can trust to deliver a result you can enjoy for many years to come. He is the project manager on all jobs, and is always accessable. You deal directly with him, the owner.

Michael Niehaus Homes is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Home Builders Association (HBA), and the National  Association of Home Builders(NAHB).

Mike has become one of the few local professional builders to attain a Graduate Master Builder (GMB) designation, identifying him as one of the industry's top professionals. Administered by the NAHB University of Housing, to attain his designation, Mike successfully completed a BAR exam, Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), and GMB courses, and has more than the required ten (10) years of building industry experience. These intense series of courses covered business management techniques, and the newest trends and technology in the building industry.

Mike has also been awarded the Certified Aging in Place (CAPS) designation. CAPS professionals have been taught the stratagies and techniques for designing and building aesthetically enriching, barrier-free enviroments.

Mike has participated in all of the required courses for NAHB's Green Building designation.
